Don't just buy a door when you can own a custom grand entrance that has that "WOW factor" that you have been looking for, and will properly represent your personality and accomplishment to every guest who arrives at your home or business.

Building a family legacy has been going on since the beginning of time. Building heirloom furniture and doors intended to last forever is one of the primary ways we all have in achieving some small part of immortality. These cherished family items will touch our loved ones for many years to come through physical interactions as well as family photos . Many societies, including the Egyptians and Mayans, as well as European royalty and aristocracy have created and passed down heirlooms for thousands of years.

In fact, if it were not for these artifacts, it would be impossible to know these people ever existed, and how they were important to history. This is also the case in the 21st century within your own family. No matter if it’s a simple, hope chest with your personal message or name as a gift to a loved one, or extravagant, fine art quality, master handcrafted, custom extravagant Art Nouveau entrance door, these items will be important to the story of your family history long after we are gone.

These Are No Ordinary Entrance Doors

Our wood finishes will never crack, flake, chip, or peel off like paints and powder coats. That is because our hand rubbed stain infusion process begins with fine hand sanding, and infused open grain hand applied stains. Furthermore, additional steps add natural oils, waxes, and lacquers with curing between each step. That puts the finish into the wood, not just sprayed on. This means a finish that will stay beautiful for generations with little or no maintenance.

Like all of our custom, handmade entrances, this is a fine art quality, extravagant Art Nouveau entrance door. Our combination of the finest materials, and master hand craftsmanship allow for us to offer a quality of product that is unsurpassed anywhere else, at any price. This is not only an investment quality door, it is an appreciable asset that will add to your financial net worth. In the eyes of your family, it will become a cherished heirloom and a priceless piece of immortality that will be tangible for generations. It will serve as a way to celebrate your life, and its direct effects on who they are and what your influence was on your family's history. True artifacts enhance and enrich all of our lives in a way that mass-produced merchandise never will, thus preserving the best of mankind and expressing our love for each other.

This intricately designed, extravagant Art Nouveau entrance door is the work of our world class design department, and in house senior engineers. All of our products are designed, and built under the direction of award winning artist H.J. Nick . Every product is signed and certified as world class fine art quality by H.J. H.J. Nick signature panel

Every product from ArtFactory.com is designed by and built under the supervision of award winning artist H.J. Nick. A product is not signed by H.J. Nick until it has been found to meet all world class fine art criteria.

The meticulous finish has been done in age old technique, using a 23-step hand rubbed process. We begin with fine hand sanding, and infused open grain hand applied stains. That puts the finish in the wood not just sprayed on it. This allows for the fine natural wood grains to show to perfection. There are then 20 additional steps requiring the application of wax, oils and lacquers with curing times between each process. This method is performed on all furniture and door wood surfaces inside and out. This tried and tested finish detail is required in the making of a one-of-a-kind, family heirloom quality product that meets world class investment quality standards that will stand the test of time. This process is the only way with little maintenance and the simple process of cleaning with oil will allow for a beautiful natural patina that will make this door more beautiful over time.

Extravagant Art Nouveau Entrance Historical Design Inspiration

Jules Lavirotte door at 3 Sqare Rapp in Paris

Cet immeuble de style art nouveau, situé 3 square Rapp, a été conçu par l'architecte Jules Lavirotte. L'extérieur est classé à l'inventaire des monuments historiques depuis 1975, l'intérieur l'est depuis 2005.

Jules Lavirotte was a French architect who is primarily known for his work during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He was born on August 10, 1864, in Paris, France, and died on March 23, 1929, in the same city. Lavirotte's architectural style was heavily influenced by the Art Nouveau movement, which was characterized by organic forms, intricate detailing, and a departure from the traditional architectural conventions of the time. He is particularly renowned for his innovative and ornate designs for the facades of buildings.

One of Lavirotte's most famous works is the Hôtel de Noailles, located at 9 Rue Royale in Paris. Built between 1896 and 1900, this building showcases Lavirotte's unique style with its exuberant façade featuring intricate stonework, decorative ironwork, and sculptures. The Hôtel de Noailles is often considered one of the finest examples of Art Nouveau architecture in Paris. Another notable building designed by Lavirotte is the Castel Béranger, located at 14 Rue La Fontaine in Paris. Constructed between 1895 and 1898, it was one of the first residential buildings in Paris to display the characteristics of Art Nouveau. The façade of the Castel Béranger is adorned with decorative elements such as ceramic tiles, wrought-iron balconies, and sculpted figures, showcasing Lavirotte's attention to detail.

Lavirotte's architectural style was marked by a focus on craftsmanship, with an emphasis on using high-quality materials and incorporating intricate details. His designs often featured elements such as curved lines, floral motifs, and asymmetry, all hallmarks of the Art Nouveau movement. While Lavirotte's work was highly acclaimed during his lifetime, the popularity of Art Nouveau declined after the First World War, and his style fell out of fashion. However, in recent years, there has been a renewed interest in his buildings, and they are now recognized as important contributions to the architectural heritage of Paris.nOverall, Jules Lavirotte was a prominent figure in the Art Nouveau movement, known for his intricate and imaginative designs that pushed the boundaries of architectural conventions of his time.

We took that ironwork and art nouveau style of his door and adapted it to a more modern doorway shape and size while keeping the inspiration in the forefront. Our master blacksmiths created the delicate curly cues without making them overbearing, letting the flow of the door lead your eye. The hand forged door pulls fit seamlessly into the swirls of the door and our carvers' work. Celebrate your whimsical side and being a little bit of Paris home with you with this door as the grand entrance to your home.
