Description

The architectural rendering imagines...

... an upscale residence designed around this distinctive H.J. Nick entrance. Natural limestone, broad rooflines, warm wood ceilings, and expansive windows establish a setting where the door’s craftsmanship becomes the focal point. A generous stone approach leads directly to the entrance, drawing the eye toward its sculpted wood and softly textured glass.

Contemporary Design. Traditional
Master Craftsmanship.

Standing eight feet tall, with a 44-inch-wide door and a 24-inch sidelight, this entrance balances substantial construction with an inviting sense of light. A sweeping wooden curve flows through the door’s face, revealing the grain and character of the timber while shaping the glass beside it. The matching sidelight continues that light across the entrance.

At four inches thick, the solid wood door gives the design real depth and presence. Its beauty begins in the material itself and continues through the work of the craftsmen who shape, fit, and finish it.

Built by ArtFactory.com using the same enduring methods that distinguish our custom doors,
this entrance combines naturally air-cured timber, traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery, and carefully hand-fitted construction. Hand-forged hardware and a hand-rubbed finish complete a door created for daily use and generations of appreciation.

A Family Craftsmanship Tradition Since 1913

Under the direction of master builder, architectural designer, and artist H.J. Nick, our American craftsmen carry forward a family tradition dating to 1913. Each commissioned entrance brings the client’s vision together with the knowledge, patience, and skill required to turn natural materials into functional fine art.

Designed and signed by H.J. Nick, this door expresses a simple belief: the entrance to your home deserves the same thought and artistry as everything built around it.

Your Home. Your Vision. An Original Entrance Built to Last Forever.
