This grand entrance tells a story of strength, family, and the enduring beauty of the American wilderness.
At its center stands a mighty oak tree, its roots grounded in the earth and its branches reaching upward. It represents a family firmly rooted in its values — growing stronger through every generation. The deer beneath its shelter symbolize dignity, watchfulness, and peaceful life within the forest. Even the sculptural antler door pulls become part of the story, inviting guests to enter a home built in harmony with nature.
Originally designed by H.J. Nick, the entire entrance was created as one continuous work of architectural fine art. Every tree trunk, branch, leaf, animal, rock formation, and wilderness detail was carefully composed to flow across the double doors and matching sidelights.
The entrance was then brought to life by the master craftsmen of ArtFactory.com. Using solid natural timber and traditional old-world methods, the design was carved deeply by hand to create genuine dimension, shadow, and movement. The doors were carefully fitted, joined, finished, and equipped with handcrafted architectural hardware — never mass-produced, molded, or assembled from decorative appliqués.
