Grand entrance custom French doors with arch top, insulated glass panels, and Spanish grill overlay. As shown: This pre-hung door - can be ordered in any size - created from Northern white cedar wood, solid structural full arch jamb with 1-inch rabbeted stop. Each custom hand crafted door is a full 3-inch thick or more, solid wood, full length timber with 1/2-inch thick thermal glass panels, featuring a hand forged and hammered solid iron grill overlay with decorative clavos and arrowhead ends. The custom door includes an adjustable threshold, self-sealing sweeps that automatically raise and lower as you open and close the doors, two roller style latches, tension adjustable self-closing spring hinges, and single cylinder dead bolt lock. The door hardware shown features a hand forged and anvil hammered solid wrought iron "D" style handle with arrowhead ends, matching dead bolt backplate, all patina finished in P-500 black. This door is hand stained in Medium Walnut Lacquer Matte with Light Distress. This custom French style door is available in any size, finish, and hardware design.

The Zaikonospassky monastery in Russian was a monastery in Kitai-gorod, Moscow, just one block away from the Kremlin. It was founded in 1600 by Boris Godunov. At first called "Saviour the Old", the cloister gradually acquired its present quaint name which alludes to its location and means "the Saviour behind the icon shops". Between the late 17th - early 19th centuries, the Zaikonospassky monastery was one of the enlightenment centers of Russia. Between 1687 and 1814, it was home to the Slavic Greek Latin Academy, Russia's first secondary education establishment.

Today's architectural ensemble includes the Saviour Cathedral (originally constructed in 1660-1661; rebuilt in 1717"1720 and 1742) and several 17th-century chambers as well former school building which date to 1822. The Zaikonospassky monastery was closed after the October Revolution and later reopened as an institute of archives. There is a memorial plaque in honor of Mikhail Lomonosov, who was once a student at this cloister.
