Antique French Design Iron Chandelier - Hand Forged Wrought Iron

Inspired by the 19th century French candelabras, H.J. Nick has created this modern electric version of classic antique wrought iron chandelier.

Designed from an original antique chandelier created by 19th century French blacksmiths, this handcrafted custom iron chandelier offers old world, Louis XVIII styling enhanced with modern electric lighting. Each of

the solid iron spindles on this iron lighting fixtures is hand shaped into a smooth S curve, and all come together at the base to form an iron flower on this custom designed chandelier. The spindles flow downward from their decorative cap in a canopy design to meet with the chandelier body main ring, and the entire piece is suspended by a sturdy chain and ceiling light canopy. A solid iron ball decoratively seals the flower in place, and the entire chandelier is patina finished. The patina on this modern iron chandelier is created by hand applying iron oxides to the metal and curing them at over 1000 degrees to create a finish that is a permanent part of the metal. Patina will never fade, chip, or crack, and will only improve with time. This hand forged iron chandelier and all of our custom lighting fixtures, including lamps, sconces, and chandeliers are wired to exceed all electrical code and safety requirements worldwide.
