We celebrate history and fine art craftsmanship. We don't make your door until you order, that's how you know it is custom made and truly one-of-a-kind. The contemporary modern age design is inspired by a 19th century country house in England, and crafted with the same old-world techniques that fashioned the great buildings of the past. World renowned artist and designer H.J. Nick builds custom doors inspired by history that utilize the same materials, techniques and craftsmanship as the original. In addition, he personally supervises the construction of and signs every product that leaves our shop to assure that is is of investment quality, and future heirloom and antiquity value.
Custom Doors and Hand Forged Hardware Specifications
The harmonious decorative wrought iron handle adds a new age feel to these custom contemporary double doors. This design combines the best of both worlds when it comes to style and security. Like all of our doors, we include custom hardware that has been hand forged by master blacksmiths using hammer and anvil over a coal fired forge. Additionally, each piece of wrought iron hardware is advance patinated using our proprietary, iron oxide process. This hand applied process infuses the patina to the metal at over 1000 degrees to bond to the metal, and assure that your hardware is virtually maintenance free and will stay beautiful for years to come.
