The arched headboard and footboard are 6" thick solid cedar (as pictured) and feature decorative wrought iron clavos. The side rails and footboard also feature solid, hand forged, iron straps and a "V" brace for added decoration. This bed is hand crafted from solid exotic cedar, never veneers or paste boards because fine art is never made from low quality materials.

This matching night stand is masterfully hand crafted in an old world style. It features raised, hand carved front designs and customer selected, padded leather panels. It includes one drawer on full extension, easy glide tracks and a bottom cabinet with an adjustable shelf for storage. This craftsman bedroom furniture set is hand carved by one master carver so that the entire set is in one matching style. These are detailed, high relief carvings, and certified as fine art quality. The meticulous finish has been done in age old technique, using a 23-step hand rubbed process. We begin with fine hand sanding, and infused open grain hand applied stains. That puts the finish in the wood not just sprayed on it. This allows for the fine natural wood grains to show to perfection. There are then 20 additional steps requiring the application of wax, oils and lacquers with curing times between each process. This method is performed on all furniture and door wood surfaces inside and out.
