Sleep Beneath a Work of Art: The Bird’s Nest Canopy Bed — BNB67

It feels as though the trees grew here just to shelter your dreams.

Mass production beds and furnishings will ultimately end up in a landfill. Our custom bedroom furnishings become family heirlooms that are cherished and passed down for generations. Not only that, but will add to your financial net worth.

Designed by H.J. Nick and handcrafted by the master blacksmiths at ArtFactory.com, this extraordinary canopy bed transforms solid wrought iron into a woodland sanctuary. Deeply textured trunks, graceful branches, and individually shaped leaves create a sculpture you can live with—and dream beneath.

One Leaf at a Time. No Two Alike.

Nature never creates the same tree twice. That individuality guides our blacksmiths at the forge.

Using hammer, fire, and anvil, our masters work solid wrought iron one piece at a time. They shape the substantial trunks, draw out the reaching branches, and individually hammer each leaf into its own form.

No two leaves are the same. Each has its own shape, texture, curve, and place within the canopy. Some turn upward; others curl or tilt into the light. Together, they suggest the movement of foliage caught in a gentle breeze.

Across the headboard and footboard, sweeping iron limbs continue the woodland design. Root-like bases anchor the four corners, while the open canopy allows light and shadow to move through the branches. The result combines the strength of solid iron with the delicacy of nature.

What appears effortless in a forest takes patient, practiced hands to create at the anvil.

The Color Comes from Fire and Earth

Our combination of the finest quality materials, combined with master hand craftsmanship, and old world techniques allows us to offer the finest custom bedroom furniture available anywhere, at any price.

The patina deserves the same care as the ironwork beneath it.

Our craftsmen develop the finish by hand using natural iron oxides and high heat, bringing depth, color, and variation to the forged surfaces. Dark, earthy trunks support a canopy accented with warm gold and soft green. Each leaf contributes its own subtle character to the whole.

Daylight reveals the texture of the hammer work and the changing tones of the foliage. In the glow of bedside lamps, the branches cast soft shadows, and the leaves catch small touches of light.

The forging gives this bed its form. The hand-applied patina brings its character to life.

A Nest Of Your Own

Don't settle for ordinary when you can own the extraordinary. Our one-of-a-kind products are custom made to reflect each customer's unique personality and accomplishments. In fact, we are so confident in our craftsmanship that we guarantee every product forever!

A bird builds its nest one piece at a time, gathering what it needs to create a place of safety and belonging. That simple act is the inspiration at the heart of this bed.

Picture the end of a long day. Soft linens welcome you. The room grows quiet. Above you, branches reach across an open canopy, and the little nest rests safely among the leaves.

Your bedroom becomes a private retreat beneath the trees — a place for slow mornings, whispered goodnights, and dreams that linger after waking.

This is a bed to build a room around. A gift to mark a life together. A daily reminder that the most meaningful things in a home can be both useful and beautiful.
