Description
Wagon Wheel Lanterns: Winchester Rifles Western Chandelier
This custom chandelier is a real piece of western American history transformed into a lasting piece of artwork by artist H.J. Nick. This chandelier is built from a genuine, old west wagon wheel that is surrounded by replica (non-firing) lever action Remington rifles from the Civil War era. ArtFactory.com acquires these authentic wagon wheels in the old west territories and professionally seals them to prevent further aging and to assure this custom light to be an heirloom investment quality piece of art. The rustic charm of this Americana features kerosene style lanterns, fitted with glass globes and can be easily removed to access light bulb sockets.
The iron lanterns are finished with a patina, where we hand brush oxides onto the raw metal, curing them at over 1000 degrees creating a color that is a permanent part of the metal. A patina will never fade, chip, or crack, and will actually improve with age. This western style chandelier is topped by a hand forged horseshoe and hangs by a decorative chain and ceiling canopy. Each ArtFactory.com wagon wheel chandelier is a unique, completely original piece of artwork that brings an authentic piece of collectible old west into your home.
