H.J. Nick & Art Factory Deliver a Masterpiece to a Montana Ranch.
The legendary spirit of the Old West has found a new home in Montana, as H.J. Nick and the Art Factory master craftsmen have officially completed and delivered an authentic recreation of the historic Palace Saloon bar, back bar, and massive handcrafted fortress-style exterior doors to a private ranch compound.

Commissioned by a Montana rancher with an unlimited budget, this masterpiece is now fully installed and operational, standing as a breathtaking tribute to the original Palace Saloon of Prescott, Arizona. With its unparalleled craftsmanship, period-accurate details, and seamlessly integrated modern amenities, the completed saloon is a testament to Western history, fine artistry, and architectural excellence.

All of our custom solid wood furnishings are built with genuine, solid, full-length timber. Handmade with mortise and tenon joined construction by master craftsmen.

Nestled within the sprawling landscapes of Montana’s frontier country, the newly completed Palace Saloon has become the crown jewel of the rancher’s estate—a fully functional and historically immersive space where guests can experience the elegance, rugged charm, and rowdy camaraderie of a true Old West saloon.

This one-of-a-kind commission was designed and handcrafted to perfectly replicate the famous bar and back bar of Prescott’s legendary Palace Saloon, a historic landmark once frequented by Wyatt Earp, Virgil Earp, Doc Holliday, and Theodore Roosevelt’s Rough Riders. Now fully installed, furnished, and operational, the Montana rancher and his guests can step back in time while enjoying all the modern comforts discreetly woven into the design.

Masterful Craftsmanship: Recreating the Old West with Precision

From the moment the final handcrafted piece was delivered and installed, the saloon radiated authenticity, capturing the untamed elegance of the late 1800s with its hand-carved woodwork, period-accurate saloon doors, and breathtaking architectural details.

With the final installation complete, the Montana rancher now owns a true Western landmark within his private retreat—a space that is not a reproduction  but a H J Nick original inspired from the Palace Saloon Bar and a fully functional, immersive experience of the Old West.

Modern Functionality Hidden Within a 19th-Century Masterpiece

While the atmosphere is pure 1800s, the saloon’s modern amenities remain expertly concealed, allowing for comfort and convenience without compromising authenticity.

  • State-of-the-Art Sound System – Discreetly integrated for high-quality audio.
  • Hidden Refrigeration & Storage – Built into the back bar and front horseshoe bar.
  • Custom Humidor & Cigar Lounge – Luxurious space for fine cigars.
  • Climate-Controlled Whiskey & Wine Storage – Preserves a private collection.
  • Big-Screen Televisions Disguised as Period Artwork – Hidden behind antique mirror frames.

The result is a fully immersive, historically accurate saloon that also serves as a world-class entertainment space for private gatherings, celebrations, and high-profile guests.

Legendary lawman Wyatt Earp, best known for the gunfight at the O.K. Corral, shaped the Wild West with his fearless pursuit of justice.

An Exclusive Retreat: A Living Piece of Western History

Now that the saloon is fully completed and in use, it has quickly become the centerpiece of the rancher’s estate, offering an unparalleled setting for private events, fine dining, and Western-style entertainment.

Guests can sit at the handcrafted bar, just as Wyatt Earp once did, push open the towering hand-carved  fortress doors, play poker at a custom-built saloon gaming table, and soak in the rich atmosphere of an authentic Old West saloon—all while enjoying the unmatched luxury of a modern ranch retreat.

For H J Nick and his team, this project marks the completion of a masterpiece—one that not only recreates a historic landmark but also ensures that the spirit of the Old West continues to thrive in a new, private setting.
