HJ Nick’s extensive travels have provided the inspiration behind this visually stunning hand forged iron chandelier.

Fashioned after candelabras that adorn the grand dining halls of Eastern European castles and estates, this hand forged iron chandelier has been master crafted as an authentic piece of heirloom quality artwork. Each delicate arm of this custom chandelier has been hand hammered and anvil forged from solid iron by our master level blacksmiths and surround a classic woven basket design hand wrapped from solid braided wrought iron. The rich color on this iron custom lighting fixture comes from a patina that has been created by hand applied iron oxides fired at over 1000 degrees to create a finish that will never fade, chip or crack – and actually beautifies with age. This handmade iron chandelier is UL listed and hangs by two chains and a decorative ceiling canopy. Main Iron Structure – Hand forged iron chandelier, hammer struck to shape using a variety of solid wrought iron materials. Main wire traces very from 1/4″ to 3/4″ heavy wall structural iron depending on the quantity of luminaries. For chandeliers, the main wire hide cap and mount is hand forged iron with chain through that allows for 900 pound test chain to mount directly to your structural beam. The wire hide is designed to mount to any standard electrical light receptacle includes two decorative mounting screws. This type of cap also allows for the use of a (customer supplied) chandelier remote winch that allows you to remotely raise and lower your chandelier for service and maintenance. All wall mount sconces and post mount lights will mount to any standard electrical receptacle.
Light Sockets: You may request standard medium base sockets or candelabra sockets for most applications. Ask your representative for details. These socket sizes allow for a wide variety of long life, energy efficient bulbs.

You may choose from many natural iron oxide colors, and all our patina finishes are water based and earth friendly. You may order any single color or texture finish at no extra charge.
