This is an authentic, vintage Firestone Farm Tires sign from around the turn of the 20th century. It is a new old stock (NOS), meaning that it is in unused condition. Old signs in this condition are the most collector coveted due to their pristine condition. It is a single sided embossed tin sign. The original red sign has the word "Firestone" in white along the middle of the sign and the words "Farm Tires" in white along the bottom of this antique collectable sign. Rare vintage Firestone Farm Tires sign manufactured by the Firestone Tire and Rubber Company of Akron, Ohio founded in 1900 by Harvey Samuel Firestone. Firestone supplied pneumaic tires wagons and buggies in the early 1900s. Harvey was friends with Henry Ford and became the original tire supplier for Ford's first automobiles. Firestore was eventually purchased in 1988 by the Japanese company Bridgestone.
