Bring American history to the forefront in your home with this plow wheel and antler chandelier. In the early years of the United States, farmers made up almost 90% of the labor force. Before the commonality of engine driven machinery, plows were hitched to horses and the farmer drove the horses to create the furrows in his land. Plow wheels helped both the horse and the farmer to make the job easier. H J Nick took this agricultural history and combined it with the other common facet of the time, hunting, to create this unique chandelier for your home. Using the plow wheel as the base, antlers procured from natural shedding are attached and hand wired to UL standards. Our master blacksmiths then hand forged the hanging chain in wrought iron, in keeping with the rustic look of the plow wheel.
