Historic Custom Wood Doors by ArtFactory.com
Inspired by St. Lawrence Church in Bourton-on-the-Water in Cotswold, UK, this arched cathedral door combines simplicity and master craftsmanship to create an elegant door that would be a beautiful addition to your home. St. Lawrence church is located on a spot that has housed a church building since 1140. Beneath the east end of the current church, there is still a crypt from the 12th century and within the church there is a painted ceiling in the chancel, also from the 12th century. In the 18th and 19th centuries additions were built, including the door that was our inspiration, expanding the church to what is seen today.
